Just the sweetest metal, silver finish sailboat. I am naturally drawn to smaller objects and just love having them propped around my home. I like the movement with the main sail just a little out of line with the jib, as if it is catching the wind. Inquiries place very similar boats, but a tad larger, from the 1940's.
Styled: I almost feel this should go in a small curio cabinet, or a glass display box. Perhaps with some shells nearby or smaller natural treasures collected from the shore. FYI, Not a toy. Too sharp for children unless placed visually up high. Both tips of the sails are very pointed and mast is not pointed, but exposed steel.
Condition: I gave the item a quick damp wash, but no buff or polish. I tend to leave things as I find them as many of us love patina. The finish is mean to be shiny and is in most areas. The base has crackling (pictured) and attracts a magnet. The sails do not.
Measures: 5" T x 3" L
