Set of six vintage Italian glazed ceramic tiles with a red terracotta earthenware body, featuring Pompeian-style classical figures, likely inspired by ancient Roman frescoes and mosaics, circa 1960s–1970s.
Condition: Vintage Italian glazed terracotta, a few minor corner dings on a few. Someone has adhered a goo to the back enabling a hanging hook but unfortunately, partially obscured complete factory mark. Made in Italy, is visible on one of the tiles and corroberates with the daughter of the initial purchaser from Italy.
Styled: I would hang the 6 together as a statement in a smaller area. You could also add them to an existing gallery wall. Feeling industrious, they'd be beautiful inserted into a table or tray. Also to beef them up, have a hardy frame made for each.
