Presenting a stunning vintage Italian 5 piece wood set. Painted wood in Ivory with Gold overlay in Florentine Style. Each tray has one ornate brass handle, that enables it to hook onto the stand. Typically Florentine items were typically made from either a Black Poplar or Linden wood, so that it could be painted and maintain strength. They are lightweight woods.
The trays themselves vary in terms of wear. One almost appears a little bleached with a white swirling effect. Another has two white 'dots'. There is also chipping here and there.
The stand itself is very ornate. It is lightweight with a brass strip across top, that the tray handle will slide onto.
The five piece set includes a stand with a brass handle and four folding trays.
