Such a fun vintage find. In excellent vintage condition. Great color, great texture.
No thermos, but does have the bar that would have held it down. (Many on line do not show this feature) A lot of room for your 1950's lunch or totally reinvent this piece for fun storage and display.
Textured diamond tread pattern on aluminum. Two metal, easy to latch clasp closures. Has some patina wear on latches. No visible sign of rust. Raised button 'feet' on bottom. Black plastic handle. Two indentions or areas on both sides to probably hold a name plate.
Item has been wiped down, but I do not plan to extensively clean to keep the original patina.
