Local Estate Sale find. More than likely 19th century, handmade based on the rough hammered handle and the rivots attaching handle to the copper Pot/Bowl portion. I am unable to locate any markings on the piece, which also lends to potentially being handmade. Mostly likely late 19th century based on no markings and the start of mass produced similar products after that time frame.
My first thought was ladle but after furthing digging, it is a pot, described as being used for a custard and referenced in either French= Sabayon or Italian= Zabaglione but either way sounds magnificent!
Condition: The "pot" has several small dents. (Priced accordingly) The handle is loose but secure. The rivots are not brass or copper but some type of metal, based on magnet test. It has not been polished or washed with anything since in my possession.

Certainly one of a kind, if truly handmade and in antique /vintage condition. As with all antique or vintage item(s) it has lovely character and patina that come with age. Buyer agrees to the no return policy.
